This spasm has been happening for months, I had heartburn in the beginning so I went to gastro. Did an endoscopy and was only mild inflammation. Now I take acifex but spasm continued. Went to my cardiologist bc I have a bicuspid Aeortic valve. He ran EKG, echo, even an MRI to check for an Aeortic dissection, All clear. He said it could be stress related, so I Went to a therapist bc this unresolved sensation was giving me panic attacks. Seemed to help some, but sensation/spasms are back. I do yoga but nothing resolves the issue. I'm at my wits end, any ideas??

  • Maybe the yoga pulled something out of place. You might talk to a physical therapist or an upper cervical chiropractor. www.upcspine.com Perhaps the vagus nerve got pinched or its covering pulled out of place. The vagus nerve travels from the neck to the heart and stomach.
