I had exploratory surgery in December 2013 where the general surgeon and my OB/GYN found a large amount of abdominal adhesions that were literally ripping me apart inside. For 13 1/2 months I was in constant pain and could find no relief even with pain medication but 8 surgeons, ct scans, mri's, X-rays and ultrasounds could not figure out what was wrong. When I finally had my surgery the doctors found exactly what it was that I had been saying and were able to remove the adhesions but did not do anything to prevent them from coming back. Now I am in worse pain but have bruises all over my abdomen that cannot be explained and the pain has left me almost completely bedridden. I am only 44 years old with 6 children and 5 grandchildren. My youngest daughter is 4 and I can hardly play with her let alone hold her like I want to because it pulls and hurts so bad. I am or was a very energetic person that loves life and being active but now the smallest bit of strain leaves me in miserable pain.
Please is there anybody out there that has gone through something like this that has a recommendation or a doctor that may know what to do?
