I have a sometimes very painful bruise on my thumb that has been there since I was five.I got it when I slipped and fell directly on it.I has x-rays at the time and no break was found. But when it is bumped even lightly or weather changes it becomes swollen and pain can radiate to my elbow and in my fingers as well as moisture can be felt from the bruise.I had it looked at by a specialist that said tissue would have to be removed and it is considered cosmetic so insurance wouldn't cover it.But is it possible that there could of been a break that was just never caught?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
