My holistic doctor used a finger prick blood test for my iron level. Came out 9, 9.7 2nd try. He said I'm very low as 13 is normal level. Is this true? What is optimal level? I'm way beyond Menopause.
He gave me Standard Process Ferrofood supplement, but ingredients include things I will not eat: Veal (baby beef), Pork (love pigs), Beef (rather also skip).
Does anyone know an effective, easy on the stomach, basically Vegetarian Iron Supplement?
