I suspect I may have high levels of cortisol due to chronic stress, fatigue, and unexplained stretch marks that continue to appear and worsen despite no change in weight or growth.(ongoing problem for past couple of years) These marks didn't appear during puberty or time of growth, they started appearing 4 yrs ago, I am 23.(Just to clear up, I don't take any medications)
However, I've read that a major symptom of high cortisol is weight gain, which I have not experienced. So could it be possible to have high levels without any change in weight?
