1997 had open gall bladde removel. Approx 7 years ago I started having abdominal pain. After many test and pain blocks it was decided surgery was a must. Five surgeries later and the pain is worse than ever. Adhesions are attached to my liver now. I have to take oxy just to control the pain. Gastro Dr is now reccomending me see prior surgeon and do it again. Some say that causes more scar tissue and that it is risky next to the liver due to bleeding. Help I don't know what to do but I can say that in the last 60 days I have not woke up once and been pain free. Please give me your advice and experiences.
Footnote I applied for disability in Florida and the Judge said that adhesions cannot cause enough pain to mee the threshold of disibility. Walk in my shoes for 1 day Judge. I don't want this unrecognized condition to effect anyone else and especially for you to be told its not a reason for getting disability. I am sure if any of you are going through this that your spouses will agree with you and not the Judge.
