My mother has the following symptoms: painfull to the touch bumps on the base of her head and rashes on her temples, loss of appetite, nausea, headache and jaw ache with severe pain. She has asthma and saw a pulmonary doctor a week ago. She was told it wasn't shingles as it was not bilateral and given prednisone and vicodin for the pain. She is not better and now has yellow phlem in addition to the other symptoms. She is 77 and quite thin to begin with so I am very concerned. What kind of specialist should I try to see? Please help.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
