I wonder if any one can answer a few questions that I have. I have type 2. I have severe neuropathy throughout my body. Because I don't have insurance I'm rarely able to see a Doctor.
I have all the regular symptoms I guess and it has gone from numbness to complete loss or over-exaggerated pain throughout my body.
The problem I'm now facing is a little different and to be honest I'm a little worried. I'm losing my ability to walk. It starts with extreme tightness in my legs then pain, weakness so overwhelming I can't continue. I'm not sure if weakness is even the right word. For some reason I'm losing my balance and falling and my feet seem to drag and I have even broken my toes as a result.
I'm suppose to do 100 units Novolog daily but stopped six months ago due to the cost.
Last checked my Cholesterol was over 500 and my BP was also out of control. My weight has never been an issue and I watch my diet carefully but it does little good if any.
I guess the question is, are my legs the result of neuropathy?
