I've been prescribed Zyprexa but I'm not bipolar. Can they make you worse?

  • Zyprexa is sometimes used for other mental health conditions as well. Why did your doctor prescribe it for you?If your doctor did NOT prescribe it for you (e.g., it's someone else's medication), I would strongly advise you not to take it. It's not a medication that can make you "high," and taking it if you don't need it could be dangerous and harmful to your health.However, if your doctor has prescribed it because you have, say, severe OCD that's not responding to other medications, it's worth a try. Just keep in touch with your doctor about any adverse effects........
