Hello all,
The lymph nodes on my left AND right groin have been swollen and getting elongated and bigger for the last 2 1/2 to 3 years. Before this, I never felt anything in that area. There are about 3 on the left side and 4 on the right side. I had a lymph node biopsy a year ago and they said they didn't find anything to worry about. About the same time I noticed the swollen nodes, my pelvis/hips/hamstring/butt area started getting sore/achey/tender after about 15 minutes of standing in one place. It's has been geetting worse and worse, my leg muscles ache and don't "respond" or contract like they used to. The muscles in my pelvis area just don't want to support my lower back/body like they used to, and they ache and swell up/get stiff after like I said, being on my feet for extended periods of time. Also, all my joints all over my body have progressively been cracking LOUD and feeling stiff, and just very weird things like the feeling of muscle tearing or ripping off bone from by buttox to my lower back when I do squats. I'm not a brain surgeon but I would bet whatever is happening is not good, or normal for that matter! I'm only 24 years old for god's sake and I feel like over the last 3 years my body has aged 10 years. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs, eat healthy, work out, have always been active... I've seen neurologists, reumatologists, ect ect and had emg's/ blood tests/ MRI? ect and nothing. They seem to believe it must be psychological and I should take antidepressents. LOL. It almost seems like a joke. I'm completely happy and content with everything in my life...EXCEPT for the fact that my body hurts and hinder's some activities I would otherwise be 100% enjoying. I'm at a loss on what to do. I've seen my GP and "specialists" too many times and gotten the same answer "we don't see any obvious signs for common issues, can't help you", to keep going back. There are millions of diseases and conditions out there and if you don't fit one of the main one's they see most often, I guess you're out of luck. If anyone has had similar symptoms or any advice on my situation, I would GREATLY appreciate your response. Thanks in advance! :)

  • I've had the same problem since I was 16 ( I am no 21), so it's been 5 years. A year ago, i saw doctors and an oncologist, and they told me the same thing, that it's psychological. Which is ridiculous, bc how can i tell myself to have swollen lymph nodes, hot flashes, leg pain (sometimes bone pain), and fatigue..without even knowing what a lymph node was. I've had a CT scan, but i got "sick" aka threw up the ready cat before the scan, so it was pointless, and my insurance ended the next week so i couldnt get it redone**Have you heard anything back from your doctor??? They've done at least 20 blood tests, checked my white blood cell count..etc.Hello all, The lymph nodes on my left AND right groin have been swollen and getting elongated and bigger for the last 2 1/2 to 3 years. • Hi , I am 21 female otherwise fine but with the symptoms you describe painless swollen lymph nodes in neck, only 1 particularly visible my joints click a lot particularly my knees when I bend. I have a second visible lymph node on my groin for about 3 years so I'm asking if its anything to do with hormonal imbalance or thyroids if we are all female with these symptoms then could it be to do with contraception, - I have an implanon arm implant which changes my hormones so it could be that, also taken blood tests and other tests and its not cancer or hiv thank God. So interested and would love to hear from other people with these strange symptoms. X

  • The swollen groin lymph nodes is probably some infection from the time the biopsy was negative. For muscles pain you can do an ASLR test maybe it's a problem in sacroiliac joint.Hello all, The lymph nodes on my left AND right groin have been swollen and getting elongated and bigger for the last 2 1/2 to 3 years. • Have you consulted anyone who specializes is auto-immune disorders? Some of the symptoms sound like rheumatiod arthritis, others like Chron's, and as for the lymph nodes, they are involved in both infection and immunity. You may have endogenous auto-immune problem. Look at family history as well, if anyone else had any kind of auto-immune problem, you're more likely to have one, and it doesn't have to be the same one.
