Several of my toes are extremely sensitive and I feel an intense pain when they are touched. The pain occurs on some toes on the tip of the toe, a little bit below the nail, and on other toes, the pain occurs at the top of the toe. There is some redness where there is sensitivity and the skin may be slightly hard, but not especially so.
I have also noticed that my feet are much more sensitive to cold temperatures outside than they used to be. I have a hunch that the cold sensitivity and the soreness are related, but I am not sure.
