This is real and similar symptoms and reactions have been posted by a large number of other people and the PATM group under medhelp are trying to find a solution;
When people are around a person with PATM they will sneeze, cough, rub nose, rub eyes and scratch. This only happens when the person with PATM enters the room or comes close to another person. It is basically like another person reacts to you like they have hayfever.
The first response people will say is that you have dander, animal fur, etc anything that will explain the situation. In the PATM forum hundreds of people have tried new clothes, freshly showered with special sensitve, chemical free products and still get reactions.
The people with PATM also suffer from symptoms such as:
-No moon on nails
Also most the people with patm have experienced:
-a previous weakness in their body (ie tonsels etc)
-a possible contamination (ie river water, overseas travel).
