I fractured my metatarsal about six months ago. I have noticed that if i compare my two feet there is a a worringly large new bump where i broke my foot. It is very hard so I presume it is bone and about the size of a kidney bean.

I was wondering whether this was normal or something I should be bothering my doctor with. My recovery from this injury has been pretty slow. Moderate exercise tends to leave me with a dull pain in my foot which lasts for around a day.

Any similar experience or advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
