Hello, I am 40 yrs. old, workout 5 days a week, stay away from fast food and fried foods all together.Drink plenty of water and veggies. For the past year I have been having this anal discharge that doctors keep telling me they don't find anything wrong. When I have a BM I have to use plenty of tp to clean up. Hour or so later I will feel moisture sometimes itching in anal area. I wipe and sure enough it's like I never cleaned myself. Other times I will wipe and notice a clear slimmy discharge with a fowl smell. Some days my stomach will make rumbling noises as if I haven't eaten for a week but I don't feel hungry nor do I feel any pain. Recently I noticed slight pains in my lower back area mostly in the morning when I first wake up. As the day goes on it goes away and it's not everyday. Thought maybe it was my matress, tried sleeping in other areas but have same results. Doctors have tested blood and fecal. They continue to tell me everything is fine. I know something is not right. I'm going in again next week and demand to be referred to a specialist. I am extremely frustrated/embarrased and miserable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated......

  • Once your doctors have all failed, you may want to see my advice at http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=63429 - specific comment http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?p=196056#post196056 - I explained there how a Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM) doctor helped us. Without him my mom would have been dead today. Do experiment with the diet I mention there. "Healthy" foods include a lot that you may be quite unable to digest. Meat is full of meds given to the animals. Wheat can give celiac disease (even undetected by scans) that harms the small intestine, after which you may be unable to metabolise other foods. This can take months to heal, a TCM doctor can nicely speed up the process.

  • Did you find out anything? I have had almost identical symptoms (although not the back pain). I would add that after the second wipe, I've don't have any more discharge. It's only the one time after about an hour. If you got any answers I would appreciate it if you would post them.

  • Can't get any answers. I actually did a colon cleansing program through Dr. Natura. It seemed to help. I'm taking a fiber drink in the morning and drinking 6 to 8 oz of water a day. Seems to help but still on some days I will have a little discharge, mainly when I'm exercising. Still seeking answers. If you hear anything please post also.

Does that include Colon Hydrotherapy (aka "High Colonic")? Edgar Cayce said everyone needs to take proper care of the colon, and this included regular colonics. You might look into the apple diet (raw apples and only raw apples for 2-5 days), saffron tea and slippery elm powder.-James Knochel

  • Hi,Sounds like one possibility is that it is the precursor to mild proctitis - I developed this at 22 yrs - now doing well at 52 and, if so, do not be overly alarmed - in my case made worse by doing too much exercise, MSG, lactose and very acidic fruit. Be guided by the doc and if you are not happy with yours then try to get a second opinion and try not to worry too much as worry can be something that might make this, and some other conditions worse. Difficult to say, I know, but oddly, plain, safe food, happy TV & books, plenty of sleep/rest and not too much exercise can improve things in the case of irritated lower colon. Being unhappy definitely does not help.AEP England

  • I was reading about this on other forum and I wanted to hear your opinion on this too. They were talking about anal bleedingafter anal masturbation. In my opinion if there is a blood as a side effect then it usually is not good. So I just want to know if there is anybody with similar experience?
