Can an ekg detect a stroke? Ive been having symptoms of a stroke numbness on one side weakness. Numbness of my mouth on one side. This has been going on for several months almost a yr now. Ive been to dr,s and in the hospital. They ran several test and all came back normal. Ekg,blood test,x rays, urine test. They say its aniexty but i beg to differ. None will help me and im suffering cant eat or sleep and its just getting worse. I have a bad tooth and have been on meds for that. Plus i have mitral valve prolapse. I dont know what to do. Any help would be appericated. Karen
