Hello I am 22 years old and am experiencing severe pain in my groin that travels down the front of my thigh and cramps up my knee. If I turn a certain way or make a sudden movement I get a split second severe pain in my groin. This developed out of no where, there is no real injury that caused this. I have been taking 2 Naproxen’s (anti-inflammatory) a day for over a year now. With out my medication I am in unbearable pain. It is not a burning sensation it is an achy tightening pain that debilitates me. I have been to my family physician and he diagnosed me with a hip flexor strain and wrote me a script for physical therapy. I went there for about 3 months and didn’t get any positive results. I went back to my family physician and demanded an MRI and x-rays. The results came back normal. I then was referred to an orthopedic surgeon. He said my symptoms sound like I have sacral joint dysfunction. I went to another physical therapist where he said my right hip was pushed forward and inward. He used self correction techniques where I am supposed to get instant relief. That didn't work! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
