For about 6 months now I've been having problems with my eyes being incredibly painful. It tends to be mainly my left eye that hurts and is occampanied by a lot of pressure between my eyes and forehead. I have also been getting nasty stabbing pains on the back left hand side of my head which lasts for about 7 days with a 4 day gap in between. I have been seeing several eye specialists over problems with double vision and recently had an operation to correct a squint however over a month later I am still experiencing the same symptoms and my double vision is still there. It was only on my last appointment the eye specialst referred me for a ct scan and suggested I may have chronic cluster headaches. Although my eyes themselves have always looked healthy. Other symptoms include ringing ears, very stiff neck and mood changes. Its just really frustrating as I have seen so many doctors recently and nobody seems to be able to tell what exactly is causing my eyes to hurt so much.

  • All of these problems can be caused by mercury from dental amalgam fillings. But there are also other possible causes. Mercury commonly causes headaches, arthritic pains, facilitates sinus problems by weakening the immune system. Mercury also is a common cause of Cataracts and macula degeneration, by its oxidation effects on the endothelian cells of the cornea, etc. (free radical effects). I had an advanced form of cataracts (Fuch's Disease) and was told by 2 Opthamologists that I was going blind. But after research I determined that I was mercury toxic and mercury causes such. After amalgam replacement and detox I recovered from many chronic problems including the eye problems, my eyes rather than getting worse got much better, to the extent I no longer wear glasses after requiring glasses for 30 years. see: www.flcv.com/eyerecov.html & www.dams.cc

Next test, I thought it was sinuses - medicine, no work'y. Eye specialist - negative. Neurologist, I have a cluster headache. I took - VERAPAMIL (blood thinner) - for about 9 months. It worked. The swelling of blood vessels putting pressure on the nerves behind the eye.
