  • Hi my name is james gnarland and im 16 years of age i noticed a small rash on my left ancle one night before i went to bed. This is my story. One night i went out with a few mates and i smoke occasionally. Well, pretty often. And that night we just bummed around doing the usual. That night when i arrived home to go to bed i noticed a rash had appeared on my left ancle and it was quiet itchy. I scratched it throughout the night and when i woke up the next morning i noticed it had spread all over my body. It was on my stomach, under my arms, a little bit on my arms, up my legs and on my lower back. I went to the doctors that morning and the doctor told me i had gangerine. Gangerine is very common and as alot of people may not know but its very common in younger children.I lost a foot and 3 fingers.Gangerine is a serious serious disease and you should get it checked out before you loose a body part like me. I now have a plastic foot and it was the biggest mistake of my life choosing to smoke. James. G

Did it happen within a couple weeks after sex? It might be herpes 2; get a blood test to rule it out. It could be a severe case. Also get a blood test for syphilis when you get the blood work for herpes.

  • it could be a full body fungus; it requires a RX shampoo that you leave on for ten minutes and do it every other day for six weeks, but you need a dermatologist..

  • Hello in summer 2007 i was very sick one night with flu like symstoms could hardly move, the next day i woke up with a red rash all over my body it was like (hives). I went tot he doctor that morning and he told me i had urticaria which is a rare skin condition and i gave me piriton to take. Urticaria is an alergic reaction (so i was firstly told) when i seen a specialist he told me after several blood tests that i might never find out what it is. now i take 3 anti-histamines in the morning and another at night and one every four hours throughout the day if the rash is still visible. Sometimes the rash is itchy but other times it makes me feel like i have the flu. Also it is not just a rash that i get, my lips eyes and feet swell with sore lumps. I have read online about a woman that has had it for 12 years and never has found the reason. The skin comes out in red lumps because the tissue is swollen this is also the case for the lips and eyes swelling. If you have any of these symstoms you might have urticaria but i would still get it checked out because the longer you leave it the worse it could get. I hope this has helped.

So i suggest you ask your doctor about Urticaria and see if that helped.

  • Hello I had itching, red spots come and go. I was around a nursing home and someone had scabies, but my doctor said I did not. Itching got worse I tried the cream for scabies, it did not help. Then was told by infection control at nursing home about Ivermectin, pills for parasites tried it two days later itching stopped. Maybe worth a try. Good Luck. hi my name is hira and i am 19 .i have these small red dry spots all over my body.i have had these for 6 years now and when i showed my docter all they did was give me lotion saying they dont know what they are.and when they start to fade they leave they turn light brown dry and rinkly.its like there growing from under the skin.i have notice that the red spots turn really red when im taking a shower.and they are ichy sometimes.and they are bumby before they trun light brown.and on top of that i havent had my period for a year now and i am still a virgin so i cant be pregnet.so please if you have any opinions about this i would love to hear them .thank you

  • Myself, my adult daughter, both her children, and her boyfriend all have a very itchy rash with itchy blisters on our hands and feet. Have been to the dermatologist four times and were told we have scabies. Have spent $125.00 on cream to be treated twice. Have done the treatments both times, should not be getting any new bumps, but guess what? We are still breaking out. We don't know what to do about it.
