I was in a car accident 11 weeks ago and about 3 days after accident I noticed foot and ankle pain that gradually came about. It's only on the outside of my foot and ankle, pain is increased with walking, turning my ankle, when my toes are pointed or flexed and when my foot is squeezed. I can also hear a clicking or cracking noise when i walk or move my ankle up and down (clicking doesnt hurt though). It is also extremely hard to walk on uneven ground. 2 months after accident I went to the Dr and he said it was ankle sprain and sent me to physical thearpy for a month with no signs of improvement. Now I am rescheduled with the Dr for another evaluation but that won't be for weeks! Any ideas?:confused:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
