seeing purple

For the past month or so I have seen purple spots in my eyes. I went to the doctor, he said that i have slight vitreous degeneration, and, other than that, he could find no reason for what I was seeing. Also, twice in the last week, I have seen this same color come in streaks near the bottom of my vision, right around where my glasses rims are. Is this something that you might know about? Should I be worried. I feel that besides for a large amount of anxiety and stress in my life I am a very healthy person. I would appreciate a response from someone who is knowledgeable in this subject. Thanks in advance.

  • As the vitreous starts breaking down inside the eye, you may be seeing halos from the way the light is reflecting on your eyes. Do you see the purple with your glasses off as well? I had retinal problems and recently had a vitrectomy, I saw purple and it was from light reflection off the stuff floating around inside my eye. See a specialist for vitreoretinal procedures. They can get you the best diagnostics..

I also see purple among other colors coming into my vision My doctors are perplexed Whatever it is, I really don't think it is normal But that is just my opinion

  • I think you got those purple colors spots into your vision due to stress or you not sleep minimum hours as require our body for rest.

  • I think you got those purple colors spots into your vision due to stress or you not sleep minimum hours as require our body for rest. Or something in our environments is inducing these colors in ourvisions to emerge unnaturally is also viable is what I think I think it is highly unlikely that too little sleep makes people havea phenomena of seeing the color purple But then again, peer reviewedstudy's are emerging indicating that weak electromagnetic fieldscould induce purple and green/yellow to activate of neurotransmittersactivity Weak electromagnetic fields (EMF) of RF and the wireless technologysextremely low frequencies (ELF), it is emergin within the science communites that both ELF n RF have been shown to cause cells to generate stress proteins, a universal sign of distress in plant, animal and human cells So if it is someform of stress, perhaps the purple is an indicationof our bodies are generating stress proteins and the purple is some form of byproduct of this activity of these new emergingenvironmental factors coming from the wireless technologys ofits non-ionizing radiation energy Perhaps not

  • I have had one single purplish spot in my vision for about a month. I went to the eye doctor and he said my eyes were perfect, so now I have an appointment with a neuro-opthamologist. I have been reading about brain tumor symptoms and it doesn't sound like that, I hope its just from stress and lack of sleep.

Yes I would think it has a likelyhood to be some environmental condition that influences your body into prolonged states of stress. Lack of sleepis another state that prolongs stressful conditions upon our systems I am also discovering. But then again, this seeing pruple seems to be becoming more prevelant among the population and peer reviewedstudy's are emerging indicating that weak electromagnetic fieldscould induce purple and green/yellow to activate of neurotransmittersactivity. These weak electromagnetic fields could be cause from our computer and tv monitors. I found a patent or two that references such. Hope your doctor will have answers.
