I have bruises that spontaneously occur on my metacarpal phalangeal joints. They are tight and painful. Any ideas and I would be grateful

  • I had this happen often to my right hand. One trip to the ER cause they got ugly. Diagnos. Game keepers thumb (even though I'm not shooting a gun) can be caused by other things. (mine was triggered by excessive cutting with scissors. A later MRI showed I have OA developing, luckily mine is still minor.

  • My fingers also bruise spontaneously. Unfortunately my diagnoses is rheumatoid arthritis which would explain joint pain. If you are suffering from fatigue or just a general feeling poor, I would check with my doctor.
