Shortness of breath and chest pains after being tased.

My wife started having chest pains and shortness of breath shortly after being tased for "work". She has never had this problem before and the first time it happened she was rushed to ER. They did lab work, xrays and an ekg but everything came back fine. Her shortness of breath seems to have gone but she has chest pains every day.

Who should she see and does this sound like anything someone else has had experience with?

  • I don't think any of us know what tased means. If she was shocked, perhaps she had an underlying heart condition and should have a thorough heart evaluation. What country are you living in?
