  • Maybe you should have biopsy of the sore in your nose. You could have a bacterial or viral infection. I had something similar and when I would blow my nose or use tissue to get a scab out of the inside my nares, there would be small linear like scabs. This would last for months that would come and go for a couple of years. well now I have been diagnosed with viral cardiomyopoathy. I had this heart condition that caused me to go into heart failure!! I had pnuemonia that caused me to go into respiratory failure then heart failure they did cpr twice thank G-d I was a save!! so a virus or bacterial infection can go crazy and cause dangerous things to happen--sounds like you have had a lot of tests done, maybe asks doc for ekg and echocardiogram of your heart and if anything is questionable they will do further tests. Most important thing is listen to your body, I did not and paid a price for it.

  • It might be worth it to get tested for Lyme. Lyme symptoms are pretty varied, but would definitely account for the shortness of breath, strange sensations in your legs, the confusion or "brain fog", dizziness, the general feeling of being "sick", and possibly even the nose sores. It would also explain why your doctors haven't been able to find anything as of yet.

  • My daughter has the nose sores, shortness of breath, fatigue, phlegm, etc. It's allergies--she was tested and has a bunch of air born and food allergies. We find that exposure to chemicals causes nose sores for her. We need to get that tested too. She uses bacitracin on the sores in her nose. First do a saline wash, then dab some bacitracin on the sores. This has worked really well for her. Be careful what you use for an antibiotic. I had bought a triple antibiotic thinking it was the same as bacitracin (back before I started reading labels on everything). It made the sores worse--turns out it had sulfites in it--something else she tends to react to. I'd test for allergies and asthma (allergy induced asthma). Go to an allergist or environmental allergies specialist. Most primary care doctors know little about allergies.
