I'm 20 years old and both of my feet and ankles start to swell up and turn to a purplish color within 5 minutes of sitting down. They also do this while I'm standing still. The only time this doesnt occur is when i'm laying down or doing something active with my legs. My feet are also almost always cold. The only time they arent cold is when I've been runnin or walking. I was told last year during a health physical for a class in September that my blood pressure was kinda high but it wasn't high enough to see someone about it. My mom is wanting me to go to the doctor about it but I dont feel the need to. Is this something I need to take serious or is my mom just being a mom and wants to make sure its nothing serious?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
