Why do I vomit/get nauseous after drinking even the smallest but of alcohol?

Whenever I drink alcohol, even if I only have one sip, I wake up in the morning nauseous and vomiting. At first I thought this was because I was severely dehydrated (as hangovers are mainly caused by not having enough water in your body). I was wrong though, as the next time I drank alcohol (not even enough to get me tipsy) while extremely hydrated I ended up still very nauseous. I have also ruled out the possibility of me being allergic to alcohol, since "alcohol intolerance" has symptoms such as skin flushing/rash and nasal congestion. Does anyone know what is wrong with me and what I can do to fix it?
