July 2014 when I felt something strange on my Left leg while sitting, numbness, tingling and heaviness so i went to my Gp and was diagnosed with mild stroke. I went to A and E and was sent home after 7 hrs wait and was given Gabapentin for Sciatica. But the whole night after that was so agonising due to pain and very cold feet, I went back to A and E with purple and freezing Leg. I was seen by consultant and the very first thing they said is that they might amputate my Leg due to 100% occluded artery. Luckily, they managed to saved my leg and had another surgery on my other leg, same surgery after six months.
My question is, after nearly two years post surgery, Im still having so much pain on both legs but worst on my Right leg which they didn't managed to remove clot on one small artery.I have taken Amytriptilline, Gabapentin and now Im on Pregabalin but didn't work.Is there anyone there who are also suffering after Popliteal Bypass? Can anyone help me how to relieve pain so I can go back to my normal lifestyle?Whether Im sitting, walking or lying pain is always there . Burning sensation, cramps and discomfort.
Very desperate of help.
