Hello everyone, I am writing this post for a female cousin. I wish I know how else to help. She lives in Africa and has seen doctors for her illness(which I will get to in a minute), but no relief whatsoever.
Its 9:45PM on East coast as I post this.
She is 37 years old and about 5'9". The last time I saw her, she weighed(guestimate) 145lbs. However, I haven't seen her in about 6 years. I had a conversation with her brother who first told me about her illness. According to him, she now looks like a small girl. I am not quite sure what that means, but my analysis of that is that she lost a lot of weight plus she has always been very skinny since I've known her.
I spoke to her this evening and she described her condition this way:
1. occasional hot sensation travelling from her head to her legs.
2. From time to time, she becomes disoriented and may not have an understanding of what anybody is saying.
3. She can become restless; can't stand, can't sit, can't lay down.
4. She experiences pain on one side of her mouth around the gum lines to the extend that she only chews food with only one side of her mouth.
Diagnosis: None that responds to any Rx. Labs, Xrays, MRI, etc, detects nothing.
I asked, "what kind of food, activities arrests this condition to provide you a 30 second resemblance of normalcy"? .....Nothing helps.
You will cry, if you hear this woman describe what she is going thru. She needs help. If you've heard anything close to this, or know anybody that can offer some help or theory or have a question I can throw back at her, please don't hesitate.
