What is sclerotic bone?
Where would it be in an intertrochantronic hip fracture?
What causes it?
How long does it take to develop it?
Does it ever go away or come back?
Can an M r I and c t scan pick up sclerotic bone formation?
What causes severe heterotopic specification?
Where does it develop and why?
What is the typical length of time for hip fracture surgery in the intertrochantronic hip in the area by the femoral neck? The fracture is complete nondisplaced very small oblique stable good position not out of alignment. I am 45 weigh 236 female. No bone disorder or history of fractures in my family. My bone density is good both positive in t and z. No deficiency no diseases only have mood disorders have high blood pressure and cholesterol. I'm pre diabetic. How long should it take my fracture to heal with hip surgery placing a long gamma nail in my femur and a dynamic hip screw in the femoral neck. No inter locking was needed. What can cause non union then delayed non union. Would you have butterfly communities fragments from my type of hip fracture? And fragments in other areas of soft tissue? Could my size complicate surgery in regards to time in accessing the proximal femur to using surgical devices like an awl reamer or guide wire?
