Hey,

Wondering if anyone knows of a good website that deals with the possible impact or correlation between supplements and circulatory issues. For instance...Most supplements these days contain substances that increase the size/prominence of veins. Check out any muscle mag and you see these guys with veins as wide as my finger. Is there a long term health impact associated with this sort of change in vein size? Can "vaso-dialators" permeanently alter body composition or impact healthy circulation?

  • There are many sites you can look on but I suggest you take the word of people that already found what's helping them. For me it's acetyl-l carnitineand since I started using it I have felt the beneficial effects. It was a slow start but you have to keep it up. There's one more thing, everyone reacts differently to every treatment so I recommend asking your doctor first.

  • My husband is 33 and has this vein disease? He has a sore right now on his ankle that opened up on his own. He's in so much pain. I've never heard of acetyl-l carnitine. This has helped your wounds heal. I'm trying to help my husband find something that will help blood get to this sore. We've been to countless doctors and they don't seem to know much. I'm really sick of wasting my money on them. Any advice appreciated! Tawana

Thats what the sore management clinics use . And charge a fortune. Tinsoomboon

  • You may want to see my first comment at http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=63296 - my 80-year old mom had terrible circulation problems in her legs, I explained there how a Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM) doctor helped us. One Western doctor (years ago) did surgery on her to remove veins - to the horror of her later Western doctors, who then gave up on her. Today she is cured, thanks to the TCM doctor.
