My 6 year old adoptid son has passed out cold ( for up to 15 mins) twice in the last 4 days. He was taken to the ER by ambulance from School the second time and the first time we took him in. They have run blood tests done a CT scan Heart tests and were having an EEG tomorrow. Everything comes back normal. the only thing at all that comes up is that they can't get his reflex's in his legs. He is over weight at 95 lbs. His bio father is very large and tall as well. He has Undiagnosed Fetal Alcohole but we know thats what it is and are in the prosess of his diagnoses. We have been to the ER 3 times and admitted Once and nothing is ever wrong. He's not stressed out at school as he loves it and there is no reason for the passing out. Everything has been ruled out. Any one have any Ideas who has gone through this with a child? He dosnt have head echs either.........Thanks

We went to all the best doctors and very little helpWe eventually found a few things that helped as well as (eventually) that he has a pfo (hole in heart) and thst these were vasovagsl episodes. If he thinks it is coming perhaps have him lie down in left side, gently rub under the sternum (bunch of nerves there that reset the breathing mechanism a bit we have been told). We would lie him on his left side, talk to him , gently blow in his mouth and rub under his sternum. Very stressful but it is all that seemed to work. We need up doing alternative therapies for calming his nervous system ieCranial sacral work, upper cervical chiropractic, lots and lots of sleep and red meat. Anemia can be part of it.Hope this all helps I am not a doctor or a professional just a momwho was desperate!
