I'm a male , 19 years old ..
the story begins one year ago
i was woken up by strong & rapid heart beats ( palpitation )
i was rapidly admitted to the ER
treated by beta blocker .. ECG was normal
doctors told me that this condition is due to stress ( I'm a medical student btw )
after that , i observed that sometimes my rt jagular vein is distented that's what i'm worried about
sometimes there is awareness of heart beats , with normal HR .
Cardio echo results was normal , with trace of mitral and tricuspid regurgititation ( still normal )
SV : 106 ml EF : 0.69
physically I do not suffer from shortness of breath or rapid fatigue ..
I do intense exercises ( not usually ) with no signs of hypoxia .. or cardiac insufficiency
ABP was varying between 135(at rest) to 150 \ 85~90 ( 2 years ago till now )
renal doppler was normal , no signs of renal stenosis ..
electrolytes conc. was normal ( Na and K )
2 months ago , i donated blood .. & i didn't suffer from any complications even during exercise
Hb was 16,3 and PCV was 48 % ..

what worries me the most is that the rt (only the right) jagular vein is sometimes distended ( during rest and may disappear during exercise ) although Normal echo results and normal physical state !
is this a normal condition ? should I have more medical examinations ?

Thanks :)
