I am 14 with varicose veins on my buttocks and I figured it was from sitting too much and not walking and moving as much as I should. Also, lately I've been feeling a soreness in my legs (nowhere near my buttocks, really) in some specific areas. Near my ankle there is a greenish, bruise-like line that's maybe about one inch wide and one and a half inches long. There is also one of these on my inner thigh that starts from my knee. They don't bulge or anything (both look like bruises), it's just a minor discomfort every now and then... What should I do? Is this dangerous? As soon as I figured out I had varicose veins I freaked out and did everything I could to exercise my lower body. I swim freestyle and breastroke sometimes. I know walking and running help too. Any other recommendations? What foods should I eat? I tried massaging olive oil on it but I've only been doing this for a couple of days. Does anyone have any home remedies? Also, nothing else has happened so far... I mean, there have only been these veins on my buttocks and that's it, with no other symptoms other than the ones I've mentioned. Please reply, I'm very scared and anxious; answers would be very much appreciated!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
