Uterine Fibroids

I have been without a period for about five years. I was on the depo shot for four of those. My doctor gave me estrogen to jump start mestration. Now I am bleeding all the time. 35 days straight so far this time. I had cervical displasia about 6 yrs ago. I had laser surgery and a pap says that my cervix is fine. My blood test came back consistent with polycystic ovary syndrome, but when I went in about the bleeding she told me to come back for an ovulation test. This came back negative and she says that's why I'm bleeding so much. I have lower back pain and frequent urination. Could this be Fibroids? And if not, then what? And should my doctor taken any action about the ovary syndrome. I eventually want children so I'm very worried about all of this. Any help would be appreciated. ( Not an std, been tested for all of those and I'm in a long term monogamous relationship )

  • I would also suspect hypothyroidism as that goes along with PCOS.Menorrhagia, or prolonged or heavy bleeding is an initial symptom of hypothyroidism.
