I received a phone call from my gyn saying that my pap smer was abnormal and the whoul like to do some test one is a colposcopy the other a endometrial biospy I'm 35 and just a little scared has any of these procedures and what could they be looking for most of the people i have talked to has had the first but not the second one anything would help

  • I'd check out the info on webmd.com to start. I had an endometrial biopsy and it turned out to be nothing. It did hurt a little but I didn't heed the recommendation to take a light pain reliever prior to the procedure and did'nt ask about any numbing agents used during and I kinda think my dr. did'nt use any. I don't have much info but I hate to see an unanswered post when maybe the simplest of info might help. Best wishes :0)

  • i know that im late for this post but i had the same thing happen to me but when i went for my follow up pap everything was normal.it also happend to my aunt at least 5 times and she ended up having to get the cells removed cause they were progressing abnormal cell could mean cervical cancer thats why they test you so often so they can catch it and get rid of it asapI hope everything was fine for you
