I'm a woman, age 54, who is 9 years post-menopausal (1999)
In Jan of 2008 I began to have very heavy, very irregular vaginal bleeding..heavier than any menstrual period ever was! I have never been in any pain during these episodes. This continued until Jan of 09 when the bleeding episodes ( still irregular) began producing large ( bigger than my fist in some cases!) blood clots. Still not in any pain whatsoever. Do get tired easily when I'm bleeding...taking an iron supplement daily but no other meds....no other known diseases. But in August of this year I passed a clot that woke me in the middle of the night and was easily the size of a placemat!!!! Scared me ....thought I'd lost my liver or something!! But still...no pain, no cramping, no fever, nothing....any ideas? Thanks for your help!!
