At the begining of Nov. I was treated for a uti with a 3 day treatment of bactrim, the uti didn't go away. I was then treated with a 3 day treatment of cipro, and its still not gone. Both time I have had all the classic symptoms of a uti, but without the pain and burning. I don't know what to do because nothing seems to get rid of it. I don't have health insurance so my options are limited. Should I call the doctor and see if she will perscribe me a different antibiotic for maybe a longer time? Has anyone taken bactrim & cirpo and had no results, but had results with maybe another antibiotic? If that makes sense..?? I really don't want to get a kidney infection from this. Please anyone help! I have also tried taking d - mannose, cranberry, probiotics, and drinking parsley tea, Nothing will help.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
