I am a 23 year old man, with UTI problem.
I have had 2 UTIs in the past 2 years, where my urine colour turned almost red, and it used to burn passing urine. I was given antibiotics both the times, and at that time, UTI problem seemed gone.

This time around, i do not have a red colour urine, nor there is any pain in passing urine, but bacteria E.Coli has been identified in the urine culture.Symptons were first dected on 27th Feb and till date (31st march,) treatement hasnt helped.
Every alternate day (or every 2 days) I keep getting shivers which is followed by a fever(sometimes very high), and then a headache. And this whole process usually starts around 11 am in the moring and finishes at 3 pm. this pattern is follwed almost every time, specially the timing of starting of the shivering.

Starting form Feb 27, i was put on antibiotics(Ciproflox & Citrazine), and a week later Urine culture was done, which revealed presence of E.coli bodies. and previous antibiotics were stopped, and a new course of (Norflox) antibiotic was started for a week. X-ray & Ultrasonography was done also during the antibiotics course to find out if there were any stones, but the results came negative. and now, for the past two weeks I am not on any antibiotics, but this pattern of shivers+fever+headache still follows. every alternate day

Doctor seems to feel there could be another cause of this, but havnt reahced a solution in a months time now.if anyone has experienced, or knows about the above mentioned problem, please help.
