Well over a week ago I got a UTI from I think having sex. In about two or three days I started to really feel the symptoms, I was in immense pain. So I started to drink a lot of water and cranberry juice (it is a cleansing liquid that contains pure cranberries, blueberries, etc.)
I felt perfectly fine for about three days but I avoided sex (and probably still will, I'm so scared now).
I've been staying hydrated, drinking that cranberry juice and water, maybe some gatorade. Last night I had to dance for a few hours for a show, went to bed after. Woke up, had to urinate and bam. Burning sensation. Not too bad but it is definitely there.
I've had a UTI maybe about three times in my life, they always went away on their own. At the time I was really clueless so I didn't even try to treat it, I didn't think much about it.
This time it is really worrying me. I have no back pain today (I did when it first started) but I hate this burning sensation.
Would greek yogurt help? Or what can I buy otc?
