I've had several UTI's in the past and they've always had the classic symptoms....frequency/urgency, burning, cloudy/strong urine.
A few months ago, I found that I had to go all the time with basically nothing coming out. No pain, no burning, no cloudy/strong urine. However, it was getting really annoying to feel like I had to go all the time, so I finally went to the doctor, who thought maybe it was interstitial cystitis but did a UTI screen just in case. The quick test said no UTI but the longer culture test came back positive for UTI and so I did the 2 day antibiotic course. The urgency ever so slowly over the course of two months went away.
Well, it is back. I feel like I have to go all the time, but of course, nothing comes out. But zero pain or any other symptom for that matter. Basically, I'm not sure that I had a UTI then or now because of my previous history of having them with all the classic symptoms.
What would make me go from having all of the symptoms to just having the frequent urge to go? Could it be something else other than a UTI? Should I go back to this doctor?
