I got diagnosed with a UTI a couple months ago. I was prescribed an antibiotic that isn't usually used to treat UTI's and it helped a lot. But I was switched to a different medication that didn't help at all and caused the symptoms to come back and gave me a rash. The UTI seemed to go away but I've developed severe symptoms such as back pain, vomiting, painful peeing, sudden uncontrollable urgency to pee, and being unusually cold. I went into the ER today because I was vomiting a lot last night and they tested my pee. The results came back saying that there were no signs of infection in my body at all. But I've been having these symptoms pretty severely and I don't know what else to do. I'm worried about it because I've had these symptoms for a while and I'm afraid my UTI might have traveled to my kidneys. I know that can be really serious and sometimes fatal and I definitely want to live. The ER doctor didn't know why there weren't any signs of infection in my test results and he wanted to get on with his day so he just prescribed me different antibiotics and told me to go home. Now I'm just so tired and cold and in pain and peeing every 5 minutes and I don't know how there couldn't be more of a problem.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
