I am a 17 year old male and have been expieriencing some testicle troubles over the past several months. Since the summer, I noticed that I was experiencing some extremely minor aching/throbbing in my left testicle and groin - just enough to notice it. In more recent months, it comes and goes, sometimes there for a week, sometimes feels fine. There was no lump or anything - I wasn't sure if it was testicular cancer or something else. It still comes and goes, but I think I have noticed my left testicle getting firmer. In the past week or so, I have felt a sort of warm feeling/ache is my left testicle, which radiates down my left leg. This has been more irritating, and I have noticed that the front of the testicle feels kidn of ripply, like varicose veins or something. I would like to hear some opinions before I go running to a doctor (and if I do go, should I go straight to a urologist?).
