hey. im 16 and a female, and ive been having problems for nearly 4 months. firstly, i went to the doctors cause my stomach was unsettled, so they told me i had a water infection and put me on trimethroprim..? that was a 3 day course and nothing happened. then i went back to the doctors a couple days later and told them i no longer have a stomach upset but my vagina and urethra was extremely sore. say... burning, stinging and itching. plus i had an off smelling discharge. so they treated me for thrush with canestan "5 cream and the pessarie.. to my surprise (sarcasm) that didnt work. a couple nights later i woke up at 3am in the morning screaming in pain. the pain was unbearable, it was like i was on fire. so my mum rushed me to A and E, and they diagnosed me with a UTI, which i knew i didnt have... so a couple days later i went to my docs, and they did a smear...the first in my life... and found nothing but they diagnosed me with a Pelvic Inflammatory Infection and put me on Dioxcyline - which i cant trake cause it makes me throw up...Metronidazole which helped a little, and more trimpetroprim...which had no effect :S
so literally yesterday. i went to Derriford Hospital G.U.M clinic, and they did all kinds of tests, and gave me AQUEOUS cream, which i put on once an hour til they get my test results back. they also took a blood test. but last night even with the cream on it was burning and i could hardly move. this morning i woke up and my kidneys. womb and ovarys are seriously in pain. i cant go to the docs cause its saturday, and ive just started college. please someone help cause this is seriously unbearable. thanks. k x
