From May to September (begining) I have had 4 Urinary Tract Infections - my doctor did an Ultrasound of my bladder and kidneys and the results came back that I have resdiual urine left in my bladder. I am seeing a Uroligist on the 4th of October. I am terrified because these are my symptoms (besides the UTI's):
Bowel movements have changed over the past year - very hard to have a movement and when I do it usually hurts and hardly anything will come out (sorry to be so graphic) - When urinary tract infections cleared up I had blood in urine - last month a week and a half after my period I had spotting - Never had this happen before after my pelvic exam with my GYN I was bleeding - the next day I had a huge amount of clear discharge with blood in it - my stomach is "swollen" if my tubes weren't tied I would say I am pregnant - which leads me to my last period was 37 days ago - I haven't been this late since I was pregnant with my 3 year old - I constantly have to urinate and when I do it is very little - I am constantly tired, just feel like I can never get enough sleep - and i am always asking my husband if I have a fever because 75% of the time in the last few months I have just felt sick.
I am hoping this is just a woman thing that can be fixed, but I am very scared. I am 41 years old with 6 children - my oldest in college, 2 in high school, one in jr. high, one in grade, and the youngest hasn't begun yet. I know It sounds like I am very busy (which I am) but I don't think that is what's making me run down (all my children) - I worked two jobs for almost four years a couple years ago I quit and I wasn't this tired.
My biggest fear I guess is cancer - there is a history of cancer in my family, my grandfather had bladder or kidney cancer (not sure which one I was young), my uncle had stomach cancer, my mother had uterine, breast and lung cancer - and it was beleived her mother died of cancer. Just looking for some answers or anyone with similar symptoms.
