I wentt to the doctor today and was put on Ciprofloxacin for UTI. I only took the first pill about 2 hours ago. I know I need to give it some time, but I am miserable. I am sitting around with my hand between my legs like a little kid who has to use the restroom. Does anyone know how long it will take for me to get any relief? Hours? Days? I foresee no sleep tonight if I don't get any relief soon.

  • For the pain your doctor should have mentioned azostat or some similar over the counter pill to help with the pain. It takes less than an hour to work and is safe to use with the antibiotics (only issue is that it stains your pee bright orange). I get UTIs all the time and I always keep a stash of this, its found at most drug stores and walmart. good luck I know this is a bit late but I hope it helps someone.
