I have an acquaintance who has stated she has acute pyelonephritis that is complicated by dormant herpes simplex. I am concerned/curious about the very frequent beer consumption and kidney issue. She has stated she is a severely rare case and will need a new kidney shortly. She speaks to her Physician who is 4 states away goes to the drugstore and NEVER comes back with a prescription medication but with all types of AZO tablets as well as an over the counter valtrex type med, on top of that she is taking an over the counter yeast infection medication. I am not an ignorant person, nor am I uneducated something does not seem right here. These pyelonephritis out breaks come at least every 5 to 9 days, that is no way could be healthy if this is true. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that I am not crazy. Her pity party is getting tiresome and I’ve just about had it. Is there a patient friendly article with the above diseases and how one does or does not affect the other so I can educate myself? Thank you for your time with this NON Urgent issueReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
