Prostate nervous feeling

I have this very nervous feeling in my prostate.I have been to a urologist which has not helped me.I have been on Vicodin for back problems,when i dont use the vicodin i get that terible feeling in my prostate,waking me up instanly and is like torture.the dr recomended a nerve dr saying that my back problem is causing my symptoms.After taking the pain med it goes away for 5 hrs.This has been going on for a year ,its ruing my life

  • Is back pain your main symptom ?WHat did your Urologist test you for? That would be an important factor in your diagnosis --What other medications have you been on and what is your diet like? Thanks

ThanksI have a lump on the prostate which was biopsied and was negitive and the prostate is enlarged.I am on Avodart and Flomax and have blood in urinethankyougreg

  • I have a lump on the prostate which was biopsied and was negitive and the prostate is enlarged.I am on Avodart and Flomax and have blood in urinethankyougreg After a lot of thought on your matters, you should do it in this order: 1.Call your GP and then ur urologist2.Tell your Urologist you're stopping the flomax--(Maybe u have a Urethra stricture of some kind?)Tell your urologist to give you the 3 glass test for prostate type issues. (sorry-- this step is under the assumption that your type of infection is diagnosed)so step 3. i don't say this from persnal experience but get your urologist to refer you to an Endocrinologist( for your gallbladder + spleen) Best of luck and sorry for the lateness..
