Hello. I have tried to find answers from various doctors. It has not been a fruitful search. I had a hysterectomy in January of this year. I came home early the next day. As the days passed, I grew more weak and sick. I phoned the doc, and told her of my problems. She basically blew me off for two weeks. I called her on a Wednesday and told her that I thought I was dying. I couldn't eat or walk. She told me to come in when she got back from vacation. That didn't work for me, so I demanded to be seen. The doc that did see me found a 17cm hematoma, and a 9cm blood cyst on my right ovary. I was taken back to the hospital for emergency surgery. they cleaned me up inside and I spent 2 weeks in the hospital. After that ordeal, I developed another hematoma. I decided that I would let this one absorb. My hematocrit was down to 18 before the second surgery, and I was very weak. I have been very sore ever since. My abdomen feels quite bruised. It hurts alot when I wake in the A.M., and when I urinate. I decided to go to another doc last week. After all of the other stuff, I had gone in because of my pain, but everyone seemed to think I was seeking drugs. I'm not. I am seeking relief only. The docs have always found blood in my urine, but they have attributed it to my surgeries. Last week, she found some more. It was actually validating. How pathetic is that? She told me that I shouldn't have this much blood in there at this point. I was told that if there were a 1 to 5 scale, I would be at a 3.5. I have no bacteria/infection, and no back pain. The doc is going to call me next week and let me know where we go from here. Can anyone help me? I would appreciate it so much!

  • Hi,I am sorry I can not offer you much help - but I am in a similar position. I had a c-section 2.5 weeks ago. In the days following the birth, I became white. The midwives just said that I was probably just a little anemic. A massive bruise appeared across my tummy as well which they said was just from the surgeon trying to get the baby out. I started to feel really odd and demanded a blood test. My Hb was found to be 4.8! I was sent for a scan which found a large hematoma (a rectus sheath hematoma?). After that I was given 3 units of blood. Sent home from hospital on day 6 with a Hb of 8.0.My tummy hurts too, like a massive bruise. It pains when I urinate. My doctor said I could have the blood clot drained using a local anaesthetic under ultrasound guidance. I opted to leave it and let it absorb as I was scared that I may get an infection if I underwent the drainage. But now I am concerned about the painful urination and whether my abdomen will ever recover. I worry that the hematoma will not absorb and will calcify.Lets keep in touch and see how we both get along. My email is bern_dv@yahoo.com

  • I have a situation just like that, but it's in my foot. It's like when I touch the top of my foot, it hurts, and that also happens when I cross my toes. I wish I knew what was wrong with me, but I don't.

  • Stay away from sucralose and splenda and aspartame and see if that helps read labels all of them even chewing gum labels!see if that helps- you have some of the symptoms of the chlorine, sucralose poisoning- find it on the web and read others are complaining and eliminating it from their diet- none knew what was wrong for a long time until they finally realized and many had already experienced terrible things- doctors were no help to them. When you get better, help alert others please. get better glarstout

  • all I can say is ditch the sucralose and splenda and aspartame and see what happens. BTW search these on the internet and go to the paces where they teach you about the symptoms of these and these is also a place where you can give a testimony if you have one so we can finally rid our place of these poisons- so many people are sick out there with a variety of symptoms and they all have the doctors stumped!
