Not a UTI...what could it be?

I recently have become sexually active again. A couple of times that I’ve had sex with my recent boyfriend I’ve had to go pee but I didn’t go until later. About a week after that I’ve felt the constant sensation to need to urinate and my clitoris seems very sensitive. Immediately after i got this feeling I automatically thought it would be a UTI about a day after I went to the doctors. She took a urin test and told me that it came up negative. She told me to go home and take Uristat. I have taking it for the past two days and while on it my symptoms seem to go away. I have also been taking cranberry tablets regularly. However, since it says to only be on Uristat for two days, since I’ve been on it my symptoms seem to be coming back. I have not been having unprotected sex so i don't think it's an STD. Are there any ideas out there of what it could be? Anything will be helpful. Thank you :-)
