Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me...my Dad has been having difficulty urinating for the past few months following treatment for his BPH. He had a foley catheter put in right after the treatment which he hated and refuses to go back to. (He's still a pretty young guy!)

His urologist recommended this new stent that's out called the spanner...was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this thing and if so, what did you think about it?

Here's the website they directed us to: www.thespanner.com

We just want to get him some help ASAP and would truly appreciate any suggestions...thanks!

  • Throw away all artificial sweeteners from the house. Aspartame and Sucralose/Splenda. These are poison. Maybe that will help. Search the web for information on these two products they are in everything- diet sodas! diet atkins food, candies and chewing gum, anything that says sugar free or 0 calorie, believe me you want to see the word SUGAR. These sweeteners cause many diverse symptoms and enlarged kidney and liver, shrunken spleen and thymus gland, urinary tract and other tract infections!Look at blue bunnie ice cream - it has it too, lite yogurts too, please read all labels before consuming and you want to see a few products as possible in them, no "bleached" articles- like flour or pasta, buy whole wheat instead, stay away from bleach, chlorine, or tap water. Drink filtered or distilled, not bottled either- they go bad. Good luck- you are a good daughter : >get better glarstout
