hello, i am a 16 year old male. I am in relatively healthy condition, i run daily and am not overweight for my height/age. My parents have not had any cases of testicular cancer nor have any of my relatives. I noticed that i had acquired a small lump maybe around half the size of a marble on my right testicle and it does not hurt, only if i squeeze it. My testicles are relatively the same size, not abnormally larger than one another.

I have scheduled myself to see a doctor soon but does anyone have any suggestions as to whether it could just be a harmless lump or actually be cancer? thanks in advance.

  • No one can tell you until it is looked at or screened. It could be cancer but it could be some kind of benign testicular lumps like spermatocele or even sebaceous cysts or hydrocelle. Many men have the same worries about different testicular lumps and symptoms but without checking you can never know for sure.

  • hey it might be a hernia, they're really common in guys, and if you're athletic and working out alot it could be the cause, or you could have been born with it. Here's a check:when you cough, see if it expands/tenses. When you lie down does it go in? ...
